CT Technologist - Grossman Imaging Center is a very busy, fast paced Out-Patient Diagnostic Imaging Center with multiple locations in Ventura and Oxnard, CA. We are seeking a full-time experienced and professional CT Technologist to join our team.
 ● Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography
 ● ARRT (R) (CT)
 ● Current CPR
 ● State of California Radiography and Fluoroscopy license
 ● IV Certification
 ● At least one year experience in a busy CT environment
 ● Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
 ● Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
 ● Strong interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of teamwork
 ● Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, assisting patients, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
 ● Performs CT examinations that include both routine and advanced procedures
 ● Assists Radiologist with biopsies and other procedures in the CT department
 ● Screens patients, and performs all aspects of IV contrast administration
 ● Performs necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed
 ● Performs ACR required QC (daily, weekly, etc)
 ● Maintains and adheres to proper safety procedures
 ● Adheres to GIC policies regarding Meaningful Use / MACRA
 ● Possible rotations through X-ray and Fluoroscopy

Healthcare IT - Under the direction and/or guidance of the COO, this position provides analysis, installation, maintenance and modification of the operating systems, hardware and software products required to support all Grossman Imaging Center’s Radiology systems and users.
Nature and Scope:

This position is accountable for installation, customization, maintenance and integrity of the systems and databases related to the operations of Grossman Imaging Center.
This position is accountable for oversight of the technical accuracy and completeness of other components including operating systems and provided computer software programs and hardware used to support the operational environment. The major challenges of this position are to identify and resolve problems to ensure the efficient function and uninterrupted operation of the computer systems; maintain a wide variety of installed software; plan for short and long range software and hardware requirements and implement new software and hardware. This position requires organizational skills to manage multiple unrelated work projects including the implementation of new systems, data migrations, when necessary, and meeting deadlines while maintaining efficiency and stability of the operational production systems.
This position will be primary support for the systems related to Grossman Imaging Center. This includes coordination of vendor support for various modalities. This position has the authority under general supervision to determine and modify operational parameters to ensure efficient performance of the programs and systems, determine and request available computer resources and recommend deadlines relative to maintaining the systems performance and stability. Decisions that must be referred to the COO include software or hardware acquisitions, personnel management, policy deviations, financial matters and changes that could adversely impact system performance or integrity. This position supports a production environment. Off-hours support and weekend work may be required.
In addition, individuals in this position must work closely with both Privacy/Security Officials and adhere to information protection and HIPAA regulations to ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.
 ● Working knowledge of various Radiology systems; i.e., PACS, DICOM, HL7, Voice Recognition, etc. as well as related modalities.
 ● Working knowledge of Windows Server/Desktop OS, Microsoft Office, TCP/IP, telephony, multifunction printers, network topologies and performance monitoring tools.
 ● Organization skills and knowledge of project management tools to assist with the initiation coordination and control activities related to the installation, implementation and maintenance of integrated software products and processes.
 ● The ability to apply analytical skills and logical reasoning to resolve problems without causing prolonged or continuous loss of computer production or performance.
 ● The ability to read and interpret computer documentation, run instructions, hardware operating manuals and user documentation.
 ● The ability to work as part of a team or work independently depending on the job situation and the flexibility to adjust to changing job priorities.
 ● Ability to provide training and instruction to peers and users of supported computer programs and processes.
 ● The ability to understand and resolve complex problems in a timely and effective manner using critical thinking skills.
 ● The ability to keep current with new developments and acquire the needed knowledge for the position in order to keep skill sets up to date.
 ● The ability to come to work promptly and routinely and to be on-premises on an unscheduled basis as required by the job functions and for problem resolution.

 ● Maintains systems and vendor-supplied software/hardware by applying periodic software maintenance, new releases and upgrades in accordance with vendor requirements.
 ● Insures integrity and recoverability of systems and vendor-supplied software/hardware by scheduling and verifying appropriate backups and designing appropriate back-out procedures.
 ● Maintains awareness of product functions and capabilities by reviewing product documentation, product upgrade letters and vendor announcements on a regular basis.
 ● Creates and maintains documentation, develops procedures and conducts training as required.
 ● Monitors and evaluates system usage and recommends product or procedural changes to improve performance and effectiveness.
 ● Evaluate software/hardware specifications for upgrades, modification and replacement.
 ● Accepts direction, guidance and positive criticism.
 ● Maintains work area in a neat and orderly fashion and handles equipment in a responsible manner.
